The President shall, through the Secretary, convene all General Meetings and Council Meetings.Notice of General Meetings shall be sent to all members concerned at least ten days in advance.
The Chair
23.
The President or, in his absence, the Vice President, shall preside at all such meetings.If both of these Officials are absent, one of the Council Members present shall be selected to preside the meeting.
Treasurer
24.
It shall be the duty of the Treasurer (and, in his absence, the Asst. Treasurer) to:-
a)Take responsibility of all monies and funds of the Association;
b)Deposit into a local bank, in the name of the Association, such cash as is not required by the Association for immediate use;
c)Keep an accurate record of all money transactions made on behalf of the Association in a Register which shall be available to all Council Members for inspection;
d)Give to the Annual General Meeting a detailed account of the money received and paid out by him during his tenure of office;
e)Receive all fees and payments due to the Association and to effect such payments due by the Association as are authorised by the Council.
Personal Responsibility
25.
The Treasurer shall be held personally responsible for all money and financial documents pertaining to the Association.
Hand-over
26.
The Treasurer shall hand over to his appointed successor all dues and financial documents, in his possession or otherwise, for which he was responsible, and this within fifteen days from the date of election of his successor.
Minutes of Meetings
27.
The Secretary (and, in his absence, the Asst. Secretary) shall be responsible for keeping a record of all proceedings transacted at General and Council meetings.
Correspondence
28.
The Secretary (or, in his absence, the Asst. Secretary) shall be responsible for all office administration and shall sign all correspondence and official notices of the Association.
Register of Members
29.
The Secretary shall keep an up-to-date list of members and their addresses.
Juridical Representation
30.
The Secretary shall represent the Association in all legal matters or proceedings, unless the Council decides otherwise on a motion approved by two thirds of the members present.
Hand-over
31.
The Secretary shall hand over to his appointed successor all documents, in his possession or otherwise, for which he was responsible and this within fifteen days from the date of election of his successor.
